Postdoc/MedTech Entrepreneur Fellow

I am a postdoc with a background in plant molecular biology and a strong interest in translational genetics. After completing my PhD at Kyoto University, I joined the University of Lausanne as a postdoc, where I studied root endodermis development and polarised protein localisation. I later worked as a laboratory manager at the University of Zurich, where I developed PRIMA (PRobe Induced heteroduplex Mobility Assay) for genotyping CRISPR-mutagenised plants. I now lead the PRIMA genetics project, with the aim of advancing PRIMA into a rapid genotyping method for clinically relevant molecular diagnostics.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, especially over card games such as Skyjo and board games such as Catan.
